LADIES!!! Pedicures Are Not As Safe As They Seem

It's shocking that this could have happened to her, but it actually could have happened to anyone.

#1 Pedicures are supposed to be good for the feet.

#2 Shaela Leggett-Wilson's mother had received many pedicures in the past from a pedicurist she trusted.

#3 Wilson's mother's foot became badly infected after she received the pedicure:

Doctors had to keep watch over the poor woman at an ICU; they treated her with antibiotics and planned to remove all of her toes and part of her foot.

#4 Fortunately, the woman responded well to antibiotics.

For that reason the doctors were able to save most of her foot. In the end, Wilson's mother only lost her big toe.
